What Google thinks of Canada: corrupt, obese, flat
Manitoba may bill itself as “friendly,” while B.C. boasts about being “beautiful” and Alberta invites you to smell its wild roses, but have you ever wondered what we really think about the 10 provinces and three territories that make up Canada?
Thanks to Google, we can get something approximating an answer. If you type a phrase like “Why is Ontario so…” into the search box, Google auto-completes the sentence with the word people most commonly write next.
“All of the predicted queries that are shown in the drop-down list have been typed previously by Google users or appear on the web,” said Google Canada’s Aaron Brindle.
