War memorial vandalized hours after Remembrance Day services
A war memorial in the west end was vandalized shortly after Remembrance Day ceremonies on Sunday, Toronto police confirmed.
The bronze monument in Coronation Park, near Lake Shore Blvd. W and Strachan Ave., was defaced with the words “Canada will burn praise Allah.”
Written in black marker, the writing was noticed by a passerby in the park.
