Jeff Harris, a Toronto photographer, has been taking a self portrait a day for 14 years.
"At once a strong collection of individual photographs and an exploration of the degree to which the archival record of our life and its so-called real world antecedent are complicatedly intertwined, it's easy to get lost scrolling through page after page of photographs on Harris's website," blogTO's Derek Flack writes of Harris' project.
With 4,748 photographs — and counting — chronicling the photographer's life, we're given intimate access into the everyday life of stranger, including a look at Harris' battle with cancer.
TIME LightBox recently profiled the Torontonian and his project.
"I didn't want 365 images of me sitting on the couch each day," Harris told TIME's Natalie Matutschovsky, referring to the initial self-portrait challenge. "There could have been that tendency, especially during the cold dark winter months to stay inside all the time, but this project inspired me to get out there and seek out interesting things."
