Toronto man charged in ex-husband’s murder wants his life insurance payout
A Toronto lawyer charged with first-degree murder in the death of his ex-husband is seeking the dead man’s $2-million life insurance proceeds.
And even if he is convicted, Demitry Papasotiriou, charged in the slaying of Allan Lanteigne, doesn’t want Lanteigne’s family getting the money.
The unusual civil case stems from the death of Lanteigne, 49, a University of Toronto accounting clerk found at his Ossington Ave. home on March 3, 2011, after having suffered an apparent beating. http://metronews.ca
