St. John’s police say sex assaults may be linked
ST. JOHN’S, N.L. – Police in St. John’s, N.L., have issued a public warning after a weekend sexual assault they say may be linked to two other incidents.
The assault occurred sometime between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m Sunday.
Police say a woman was assaulted shortly after leaving a downtown nightclub. They say the attack may be linked to a violent assault against a woman that was reported Dec. 1 on Bonaventure Avenue.
The second incident was not previously known to police and a date has not been established, but investigators believe it may have occurred within the past month.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says the suspect is about 30 to 40 years old, tall, with a slim build and dark complexion. http://metronews.ca
