Several roads to close Sunday for 10k race over part of Toronto.

Motorists may want to steer clear of a handful of streets when a 10-kilometre road race takes over part of Toronto on Sunday.
Thousands of people are expected to take part in the Toronto Yonge Street 10k, and the public is invited to line up along the route to cheer them on.
Along the route, sidewalks will be open to pedestrians, but roads will be closed to vehicles.
The city said Yonge Street will be closed between Lawrence Avenue and Erskine Avenue from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. to accommodate the formation area
The following road closures will be in effect between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.:
Yonge Street from Erskine Avenue to Richmond Street Richmond Street from Yonge Street to Peter Street Peter Street/Blue Jays Way from Richmond Street to Front Street Westbound Front Street between Blue Jays Way and Bathurst Street Bathurst Street from Front Street to Lake Shore Boulevard Fleet Street from Strachan Avenue to Fort York Boulevard In addition two other road closures related to the run will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.:
Fort York Boulevard between Bathurst Street and Lake Shore Boulevard Strachan Avenue from Fleet Street to Lake Shore Boulevard After all runners pass an intersection, that intersection will reopen to traffic, the city said.
