Kanye’s Epic Twitter Binge

By Mike Krumboltz | Stop The Presses
Kanye West is up to something big. The outspoken rapper, who is known as much for his swagger as he is for his musical talents, went on a Twitter spree Wednesday night. He posted a slew of messages about an apparently ambitious business project.
The details are a bit vague, but from what we can gather from his 90+ tweets, he is starting a new design company called Donda, after his late mother. West wrote that Donda "will galvanize amazing thinkers and put them in a creative space to bounce there dreams and ideas."

And he wants a lot of people working on it. He is "assembling a team of architects, graphic designers, directors musicians, producers, AnRs, writers, publicist, social media experts, app guys, managers, car designers, clothing designers, DJs, video game designers, publishers, tech guys, lawyers, bankers, nutritionist, doctors, scientist, teachers."
It's not every business that requires both car designers and nutritionists, but Kanye ain't your everyday businessman, and this looks like it may be a project like no other. Shaking up the education system appears to be a primary goal. "Help education. School systems were designed to turn people into factory workers," West tweeted. "Schools should be designed to prep human beings for real life." A few moments later, he wrote, "Spike Jonze and I want to do a Summer school that tries new forms of cuuriculim."
Among his many posts, West made a reference to the late Steve Jobs, whom he apparently holds in high regard. "We can collectively effect the world trough design. We need to pick up where steve jobs left off." Later he wrote, "We need to take what Michael Jackson felt and Mcqueen and Steve Jobs and we need make things better..."

There doesn't seem to be a timeline on when the Donda project will make its debut. Perhaps things are already in motion. Either way, don't expect Kanye's enthusiasm to wane anytime soon. Following his Twitter spree, Yahoo! searches for "kanye west twitter" more than doubled. Confused or not, people are clearly intrigued.
