Hundreds rescued from flooded, stranded GO train in dinghies
For hundreds of GO travellers, it was the longest commute of their lives.
As flood waters raged throughout the GTA, hundreds of passengers on one Richmond Hill-bound train were stranded for more than five hours as crews struggled to rescue them.
Without food or water, passengers huddled together over news programs being played on laptops. Many complained of a lack of communication.
