George Clooney calls mom with one phone call from jail

George Clooney's brief sojourn in prison last week was a family affair.
The 50-year-old "Descendants" star was arrested March 16 outside Washington's Sudanese Embassy. Clooney was part of a protest against Sudan's President Omar Al-Bashir, an alleged war criminal whose "campaign of murder" Clooney had testified about before the U.S. Senate two days prior.
The actor and his father, Nick, a 78-year-old journalist, were handcuffed after being warned three times not to cross a police line.
"I'm concerned about my father, making sure he's OK right now," Clooney told reporters at the time. "He's 78 years old and has never been arrested before."
It's no wonder Clooney's infamous one phone call was to Nina Bruce, a woman equally close to him and his father.
"My one phone call? My mom," he told TMZ. "One thing never changes."
Who knew Clooney was such a momma's boy?
