Doctors start waking ex-Formula One champion Schumacher from coma
Doctors treating seven-times Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher are beginning a process to awaken him from an artificial coma.
They will start lowering his sedation level – a procedure which could last several days, according to the German’s agent, Sabine Kehm.
Schumacher’s been in hospital in the eastern French city of Grenoble for more than four weeks after hitting his head in an off-piste skiing accident at the resort of Meribel.
