Celeb mag parody turns spotlight on Toronto agency
A Toronto community agency is using a slick parody of celebrity magazines to drive home the message of people who genuinely need the public’s attention.
Two glossy talking heads, looking much like presenters on a star-struck gossip TV show, chirp through the stories of women in the style of a show that might normally talk about Kanye and Kim or Reese’s troubles.
“What if we cared about those living in poverty as much as we care about celebrities?,” the WoodGreen Community Services campaign asks. The agency has its headquarters on the Danforth. Torstar News Service
