Iranian Canadian Social and Cultural magazine
Mehregon Publications, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mehregon Media Groups Inc., is one of Canada's largest Persian language weekly magazines distributed in more than 500 locations in GTA for free. Mehregon Publication originated its name and meaning from Mehregān (alternatively: Mihragān, Persian: مهرگان), the second most important Persian festival only after Norouz. Mehregon has been observed by Iranians/Persians for ages as a fall harvest festival, but only until recently it has regained its popularity as a joyful and happy occasion in celebration of prosperity and peace. Mehregon Publications is a non-political and non-ideological magazine which targets Iranian immigrants/Iranian-Canadians as its main audience. The key initiative of the magazine is to provide a platform where all Iranians can come together to share and celebrate what they have achieved in this new land, big or small. We believe only leaving behind everything you are familiar with for a totally strange land is enough an achievement to celebrate.
Knowing from experience the difficulty of settling in a new country, we established Mehregon Publications in hope that it provides a variety of information, ranging from news to literature, from culture to business services, to help Iranians settle down in Canada without losing connection with their heritage.
