Absolute Health Care is a dedicated health products supplier working with different agencies to help individuals with physical disabilities become independent in their homes or the community.
We carry products such as canes, walkers, medical socks, insoles and orthotics, orthopedic braces, scooters, wheelchairs and electric wheelchairs/ power wheelchairs, rollators, mastectomy prostheses, mastectomy Bras, back support, knee support, compression socks and panyhose.
Absolute Health Care helps any one in need of product to become independent in their daily life routine. Some may have bad knee or any other debilitating problem which prevents them from long walks or traveling for even basic chores. This could be rectified if the person has a walker, scooter or an electric power wheelchair.
Your home environment can be helped with other home safety products to prevent falls in the bath/shower, on the stairs or from their beds.
For most of these products funding can be obtained through many governtment and private agencies so that you may get them either for free or for a small fee.
The Ministry of Health has Assistive Devices Program to help people with long term physical disabilities get needed supplies and products.
This program is for all people with disabilities lasting 6 months or more who have a valid Ontario Health Card.
The client’s financial status is not restrictive to get this funding. E.g.: A senior with no income at all or on low pension and someone with a good savings account; both could get a walker or wheelchair funded by ADP up to 75%.
