YOUTH DAY, now in its 6th year, is a non-profit operated summer festival held at Yonge-Dundas Sq. We're expecting over 25,000 attendees in 2012!
YOUTH DAY features over 100 live music and dance performances on 2 non-stop stages over 10 hours; mostly by youth 14 – 24 years old. Also included is a Youth Art Gallery, a Kiddie corner for kids under 12, an on-stage Fashion Show, a sports player meet &greet, a vendor market along Yonge St (closed from Queen to Dundas) and much more! Headliner performances and celebrity support have also added to our attraction; in 2011 recording artists Karl Wolf, Reema Major, and Jordan Francis were among our closing acts. In April 2011, we were recognized by the city as “an event of municipal significance”.
