NOWRUZGAN FESTIVAL
In honour of the 150th birthday of Canada, Tirgan Festival Organizers present “Nowruzgan Festival “, where Canada 150 meets Nowruz (Persian Nowruz) from March 10 to – March 12, 2017 at the Toronto Centre for the Arts
In partnership with Toronto Centre for the Arts and North York Arts.
This three day celebration, hosting local and foreign artists, consists of workshops, theatre presentations, music, cinema, and visual arts. Daytime activities are geared toward youth and families and combine Persian art/craft technique with Canadian content. Using workshops and performances, children, teens and young adults have an opportunity to gain a clearer perception of their roles in society’s development as a cultural mosaic. Evening activities are designed for family and adult audiences.
