The Best of The Second City is a sketch comedy show that combines the funniest moments from the troupe’s 54-year history with improvisation by audience suggestion. Director Paul Bates (Dan For Mayor, Illusionid) and Musical Director Lee Cohen oversee an ensemble from The Second City’s National Touring Company that includes Leigh Cameron, Alicia Douglas, Sarah Hillier, Etan Muskat, Kevin Whalen and Anders Yates.
Leigh Cameron is a Bishop’s University drama grad who has been with The Second City since January 2013. Alicia Douglas has performed at Sketch Comageddon and was nominated for the Tim Sims Encouragement Fund Award. Sarah Hillier won the 2011 Canadian Comedy Award for Best Female Improviser. Etan Muskat received a MECCA award nomination for Space Jail (2006) and appeared in the CW’s Beauty and the Beast. Kevin Whalen is also a member of the comedy troupe S&P. Anders Yates had a role in the TV show 24 Hour Rental and the zombie romantic comedy Warm Bodies.
