SWEA Toronto celebrates the holidays with its annual Christmas festival. Join us for festive entertainment with two shows daily featuring the renowned Lucia pageant – a procession of children singing traditional Swedish Christmas carols. Lucia is the symbol of goodness and light that opens the Christmas season. Other entertainment includes traditional folk dancing, children's crafts, dancing around the Christmas tree and more.
Patrons can also purchase traditional Swedish gifts including Swedish clogs, homemade crafts, textiles, Swedish delicacies and glögg (mulled wine).
SWEA Toronto, Swedish Women’s Educational Association International Inc. is a global, not-for-profit organization for Swedish-speaking women in 34 countries and 73 chapters, supporting student exchange programmes, and various cultural and educational activities.
