More Information:
THE ULTIMATE WATERFRONT FESTIVAL If your perfect summer day includes good food, live music, cold drinks and a waterfront view, then you’re in luck – the Redpath Waterfront Festival is the Toronto festival by-the-water.
In 2017, the festival celebrates Canada’s 150th anniversary with the theme “Festival Canadiana” and includes nautical programs, live music, food, entertainment and much more.
This year’s festival kicks off the Ontario 150 Tour which will be making stops across the province and includes Rhythm of the Nation, an interactive dance and music performance featuring DJ Creeasian. And break out your plaid for the always-entertaining West Coast Lumberjack Show. The highlight of the event is the sail-in of the Royal Canadian Navy’s 440-foot frigate, HMCS Ville de Quebec, which will be open for tours all weekend long.
THE REVITALIZED QUEENS QUAY & WATERFRONT Opened in 2015 after extensive revitalization efforts, the stunning waterfront promenade and boardwalk features a new pedestrian pathway as well as the Waterfront Trail, an extended cycling and rollerblading route with beautiful views of the lake.
