Racing fans won't want to miss this. Woodbine Racetrack hosts the 153rd anniversary of the Queen's Plate. The race is the first jewel in Canada’s Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing, and the longest continuously run stakes race in North America. The horses in this race are three-year-olds foaled in Canada and the distance they run is one and a quarter miles. The purse is $1,000,000 in this race.
