The Ontario Latin Arts Festival takes place in Mel Lastman Square and showcases Latin American culture. Attendees can enjoy a number of dance and music performances from artists such as Cafe Cubano, the Mariachi Fuego Band and Ballet Folklorico Puro Mexico. They will also provide the chance to enjoy a range of entertainment including film, literature, art and storytelling. Traditional Latin food is available throughout the festival area.
This event was created by the Hispanic Canadian Arts & Cultural Association, which is a non-profit group with a mandate to preserve and share Latin culture in Canada.
