Organ recital by Dr. Patricia Wright played in the lovely sanctuary of this 19th century church at the corner of Church and Queen. Dr. Wright is the Minister of Music at Metropolitan United Church.
Go shopping, take a break, bring a lunch if you're short of time, relax and enjoy! Every Thursday there is a recital but the musicians and instruments change. This is the last recital of 2012; they begin again after the holidays.
Metropolitan has the largest pipe organ in Canada with over 8,000 pipes and also boasts one of only 11 tuned carillons in Canada. You can visit the organ after the recital. Come visit the church during Doors Open Toronto next year.
