This drumming festival is a celebration of musical sounds from across the globe. The event includes live performances by local, regional, national and international musicians.
Performers include Iyá Iré (Cuba), Maracatu Mar Aberto (Brazilian), Samba Squad (Brazilian), Rumba Y’ado (Cuba), Archie Alleyne Evolution of Jazz Ensemble (Jazz), Beyond Sound (Traditional), Baro Dununba (Traditional West African and Diasporic rhythms), Isshin Diako (Japan Traditional), Muhtadi & the World Drummers (West African), Njacko Backo (Cameroon Contemporary African) and more.
The festival schedule, including performances and workshops, is still to be announced.
