Luminato includes art, theatre, film, dance, music and literary events from local, regional and international artists, playwrights and filmmakers. They'll be showcasing their talents to the city throughout the ten day event.
David Pecaut Square (at the corner of King St. W. and John St.) continues to be the Luminato Festival Hub for the full ten days with nightly free concerts and events.
This year will include the North American premiere of Batsheva Dance Company's SADEH21. The performance debuted at the Israel Festival in Jerusalem last year, and is now coming to Luminato with three performances at the MacMillan Theatre.
Other performances include opening night's Einstein on the Beach: An Opera in Four Acts, Love Over and Over: The Songs of Kate McGarrigle and more.
