Eymbert Vaandering, VP of Operations, Lowe's Canada and Bruce Newton, Director of Business Development, Hockey Canada will present the City of Toronto with a cheque for $50,000 to make refurbishments at Scarborough's Centennial Arena. This is part of their nation-wide Lowe's Community Rink Reno program. The renovations will be made with the help of Lowe's employees, vendors, community volunteers and City of Toronto staff.
Special guests: Colby Armstrong, Team Canada champ and pro hockey player, and celebrity construction personality Bryan Baeumler.
The launch will include hockey skill challenges, inflatable games, a free barbecue, a live radio remote and family entertainment!
