National Geographic Live continues to invite audiences to share evenings with some of the world’s most daring and adventurous journalists, with Grizzlies, Piranhas & Man-Eating Pigs. This presentation features American photographer Joel Sartore, who has contributed photos of dangerous wildlife in remote countries to National Geographic for more than two decades.
Joel Sartore grew up in Nebraska and developed a strong interest in nature early on, triggered from looking at one of his mother’s Time-Life coffee-table books. He has also contributed to Time, Life, Newsweek and Sports Illustrated, and he became a Fellow of the National Geographic Society last year.
