More Information:
Iranian Fire Festival (Chaharshanbe-Suri) is the ancient Iranian festival dating at least back to 1700 BCE of the early Zoroastrian era. The festival of fire is a prelude to the ancient Nowruz (Iranian New Year) festival, which marks the arrival of spring and revival of nature. During this event we celebrate Iranian heritage and educate young generation and non-Iranians on Iranian culture and history, by providing performances, traditional dance and music, Iranian-themed Kids Zone, live music, entertainment, Iranian food, prizes and other activities related to the occasion. Bonfires are an integrated part of this celebration and we replaced it with an elaborated Firework that is a source of joy for the local residents and participants.
