More Information:
On an empty stage defined only by light and sound, three dancers and two actors enact stories that examine how forgiveness affects our lives, from the historical conflicts between civilizations to the simple personal tragedies that touch the essence of the human experience.
Forgiveness is conceived by Canada’s Modern Times Stage Company and Denmark’s Don*Gnu and co-produced in association with Denmark’s Bora Bora Dance and Visual Theatre, Laboratoriet, and Toronto’s Dreamwalker Dance Company.
Forgiveness is a value, a virtue, a state of being, a process and a choice that touches all of us profoundly. Whether it be someone taking our seat on the subway or a terrible betrayal that changes life irrevocably, the ability to understand the redeeming potential and (potential) contradictions of forgiveness makes us who we are. Experience Forgiveness in 2014 with Modern Times.
