Iranian Students Association at York University invites you to its art workshop instructed by Mahshid Fadaei. On Thursday February 27th, 2014- join us at 5:30 PM in Bethune College room 307, York University. You will be learning the art of Fast Painting and Knife Painting and will be able to create two or more art works.
DUE to LIMITED space, RSVP is needed for this event. If you like to attend and be able to take part in the art workshop please RSVP by FEB.25th by emailing iranian@yorku.ca. Please provide your full name and contact number (you will receive a confirmation email after that you have been registered).
This event is free of charge and all materials will be provided.
Since 2002, Mahshid has developed a strong interest in Decorative Arts, and has subsequently chosen this field as her career. Mahshid is an expert in fast painting methods, such as one-stroke and knife painting, which she can apply to a variety of surfaces and objects. Mahshid’s works include antiquing furniture and sculptures, using patina, and creating textured murals. In addition to producing commissioned works, Mahshid has become involved in teaching different styles to quite a few enthusiastic trainees.
