Leading while remembering …
2012 marks the 10th Doors Open Markham event. The community with the motto "Leading while remembering" is proud of its commitment to heritage conservation and its remarkable legacy of historic places. Markham is honoured to have received the Prince of Wales prize in 2000, and the Lieutenant Governor's Ontario Heritage Award for community leadership in 2008.
