The Town of Gananoque invites you to experience some of the most intriguing and charming heritage sites in eastern Ontario.
Come celebrate the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812 with us! The Gananoque Bicentennial Committee will unveil the Joel Stone 1812 Heritage Park on June 18, 2012 at 11 a.m. – the anniversary date of the beginning of the War of 1812.
There will be a number of other activities and events planned during the ongoing bicentennial celebration on the August 25-26 weekend. An official re-enactment raid with tall ships, gunboats, sutlers and Canadian fencibles will end this exciting anniversary program.
New in 2012! Trails Open Gananoque
Explore the natural beauty that surrounds the Town of Gananoque. The Gananoque Trail System is made up of a 12-kilometre perimeter hike that can be divided into three returns to trailhead loops.
