The hit musical and six time Tony Award winner Chicago is back in Toronto, with Olympic skater Elvis Stojko as Billy Flynn. Set in the 1920s, Chicago tells of murder, fame, fortune and, of course, jazz. It features the popular musical numbers “All That Jazz,” “Cell Block Tango” and “Roxie.”
Chicago was made into a major motion picture in 2002, and starred Catherine Zeta-Jones, Renee Zellweger, Richard Gere and Queen Latifah. It won 6 Academy Awards including Best Supporting Actress for Catherine Zeta-Jones’ portrayal of Velma Kelly.
