Iconic Cher is back in Toronto with her Dressed To Kill Tour, as she performs classic and new songs off her latest release, Closer To The Truth. Making her start as the second half of Sonny & Cher in the 1960s, she rose to fame with hits like, “I Got You Babe,” “Half-Breed,” “Gypsy’s, Tramps & Thieves” and “Dark Lady.”
Her latest release has received rave reviews from USA Today, Newsday and New York Daily News, and marks her first release in 12 years. It features the hit single, “Woman’s World,” which draws inspiration from Europop and house music. Cher’s last tour, The Farewell Tour, later named The Never Can Say Goodbye Tour, was one the most successful tours by a solo artist, and saw her perform a record-breaking 325 dates.
Cher is also an Academy Award winning actress, winning Best Actress in 1988 for Moonstruck.
