Unfolding each summer in the heart of the lakeside neighbourhood, the celebration of music features a dynamic roster, multiple stages, a popular street fest and an enticing line-up of gourmet food trucks. And all the performances are FREE.
In 2017, the fest celebrates its 29th anniversary and will feature an unparalleled musical roster, multiple stages and venues and the return of festival favourites.
At the TD Main Stage, a highly-anticipated lineup of performances will swing in to Woodbine Park for the weekend of July 21 to 23, and at the OLG Main Stage July 28 to 30 performances will showcase a range of established and emerging artists.
The Sounds of Leslieville and Riverside will return to Jimmie Simpson Park, with performances taking place from July 7 to 9. Celebrating the sounds of the international community with salsa, merengue and cumbia, the Beaches Jazz Latin Carnival will heat up Woodbine Park for its second year July 14 to 16.
Paying homage to the festival’s humble beginnings at Kew Gardens, and in 2017 expanding its program offerings, the Beach Village Kew Gardens Series is running two weekends: July 15 to 16 and July 22 to 23.
Crowd favourite and festival mainstay, StreetFest returns once again this year with a huge line-up of musicians of all stripes – calypso, new age, jazz, fusion, Latin, blues and Cajun will enliven the street corners and rooftops along Queen Street East, Thursday July 27 to Saturday July 29. Gourmet food trucks will keep the throngs well fed.
