The Toronto Chapter for the Swedish Women's Educational Association presents the annual Swedish Christmas Festival for the thirty-first straight year. This free, weekend-long holiday celebration at the Harbourfront Centre promises an old-fashioned Scandinavian holiday celebration for the entire family, featuring the traditional Lucia pageant, with children singing traditional Swedish Yuletide carols.
The Swedish Christmas Festival is also a great place to try authentic Swedish cuisine, both home-made and imported, and to experience traditional Swedish music and folk dancing. You can start your holiday shopping early, with a marketplace of Swedish crafts and textiles, or experience a wide variety of activities and workshops.
