Toronto Beaches Lions Club Easter Parade
Guidelines for Floats and Participants
1. The only Easter Bunny allowed in the parade is the one provided by the Beaches
Lions Club. There is only one Easter Bunny. Small stuffed bunnies are allowed
for decoration.
2. All Participants must have an Easter Theme included. No non decorated
participants will be allowed.
3. Candy must be HANDED out. It cannot be thrown at the crowd as small children
run out into the parade to grab them and can be harmed. This applies to anything
provided to the spectators.

4. All vehicles taking part in the parade must be decorated or entry may be refused.
5. All Walking Participants must have an Easter theme included or entry may be
refused.
6. No religious or political pamphlets are allowed. Any written material on a float
or handed out must be approved by the Beaches Lions Club in advance.
7. This is a children’s parade – therefore, no alcohol or highly caffeinated drinks are
allowed to be distributed.
8. Beware of height restrictions as there are streetcar wires overhead on Queen
Street.
